Anne believes that the Yamarcha Temple Ruins can be found in a place known to be tainted by darkness. Perhaps whatever Lennon was looking for had to do with this darkness. Use the Ember of Purification that Anne gave you to release the soul of Machar, who is imprisoned by the darkness. The entrance to the ruins should be in Wolfclaw Canyon.
