Quest progresses in:
A battle over the truth began among Karl, Balon, and Ereve, who gathered in Empress' Bedroom. Karl is definitely hiding something. Claiming the current situation is due to his indecision and that he should have executed Balon sooner does not add up. Did he not order him killed in the first place? Then the Empress said she knew Cerian had completed Lapenta's seal at the cost of his life. She also knew that Balon, who was stained by darkness during the process, tried to harm the Empress. This is completely different from Balon's claim. It all seems to have come from Karl. Karl clearly does not know that you have a clue: Killian's Letter, found in his house. The Empress said she had not doubted Karl's loyalty, but she seemed to be questioning him. Yet Karl only spoke about his loyalty, and did not seem able to speak about the truth.
