Throw these at "hungry" monsters that appear throughout the world to make them like you. When you increase their fondness enough, they become "docile", and you can try to capture them using the snares.
You need to be level 50 or higher to capture a pet. Dryad Candies can be purchased from Supply Merchants in major cities.
